I came to California thirty five years ago to get my college education. I received my undergraduate degree in food science from Cal PolyState University and later an MBA from Santa Clara University.
After working for a few years in the food machinery business, I decided to venture out on my own and started California Garden Products. California Garden Products began by offering a limited range of canned goods produced in California. Today, California Garden is now the #1 selling brand in the Middle East and Africa for Mediterranean foods.
We developed the Hungry Sultan specifically to bring a new and unique offering of Mediterranean foods to the American and European markets. Hungry Sultan has evolved to include our all natural Hummus, appetizers such as stuffed grape leaves and Lebanese such as Halawa and Tahini. Most recently we have developed the Hungry Sultan Snack Meal.
We are extremely excited about this new product which contains a 3oz can of our all natural, low cholesterol, no trans fats Original Hummus, Carr's Table Water Crackers all natural crackers and a spoon. We feel this will be great for children's lunches, school lunch programs, automated vending services and many other venues.
